Il Borgo di Vescine, a 13th-century hamlet of Etruscan origins, is now a 4-stars Relais conserving the original structure of the medieval village in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside.
Situated at 600 metres above sea level, Vescine allows its guests to enjoy the tranquillity offered by the uncontaminated Chianti hills and at the same time to reach the famous art cities of Siena (28 km) and Florence (42 km).
The Relais main characteristics are the green countryside, the suggestive atmosphere of times gone by, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool overlooking the valley, a private tennis court, a nice fitness room.
Our nice restaurant, open for dinner, offers the typical genuine Tuscan cuisine.
The aromatic herbs which spontaneously grow in this land are the joy of our chef who recreates the old recipes in a delicate harmony of tastes.
In our Enoteca it is possible to taste the Tuscan wines of our own production as well as the Paladin and Bosco del Merlo wines from Veneto. Upon reservation it is also possible to visit our historic Castelvecchi Cellar located near Radda in Chianti.
